Hello,
[It's me]

A recent study suggests that people check their phone's about 85 times a day (don't you just love all this incredibly useless information I provide you with? ;)), so you know, that pretty accurately represents the addictiveness and importance of our phones. And I'm not gonna deny it; I'm a pretty frequent user of my phone (although I have no problem with not having a phone for a few months when I've lost or broken my phone for the 127083987 time again). Although I sometimes doubt what I do all this time while I'm on my phone (I swear, time just disappears or something) I do know what some of my favourite apps are, so for today's article, here's a list of my favourite apps of February :)

Hi hi!

I answered some questions for you today in the form of a tag ^_^ I will be answering the questions for the 32 Random Questions tag :)

1.) Do you sleep with your closet doors open or closed?
I don't have any closets with doors in my room, but the drawers of my nightstand are closed and if I had a closet with doors in my room, I would definitely close them.

2.) Do you take shampoo and conditioner bottles from hotels?
Apart from the fact that I rarely ever stay at a hotel, I don't think I would and I don't think I ever have.

3.) Do you sleep with your sheets tucked in or out?

Usually with my sheets tucked out. :)

4.) Have you ever stolen a street sign?

Hahahahaha, no. 1. What would I do with a damn street sign? 2. How would I even steal it? 3. Where do I find one?

5.) Do you cut out coupons and then never use them?
Lol, yeah, every year. We get this ZIP-code agenda every New Year with lots and lots of coupons in them. Every year I cut them out thinking we will use them. Spoiler: We never do.

6.) Would you rather be attacked by a big bear or a swarm of bees?

Swarm of bees. I'm not allergic to bees and I would definitely lose a fight against a big bear (probably even one against a small one - after I tried to hug it).

7.)Do you always smile for pictures?
Most of the time, yeah, I do. Unless I'm particularly annoyed that people are trying to take pictures of me, then I love to give the camera an angry look ;).

8.) Do you ever count your steps when you walk?

Nope, I tried to do that multiple times while walking to the gym when I was at primary school (it was a 10 minute walk) but I would always get distracted, so I stopped trying at a certain point.

9.) Have you ever peed in the woods?
Yep.

10.) Do you still watch cartoons?

No, I never really liked them anyway. (Yeah, I'm weird.)

11.) Where would you bury hidden treasure if you had some?

Uhm, I have a little hole kinda thing in my ceiling (because there is an attic above), so if it was something small I would hide it there. Otherwise, I guess in my garden or something? Never really thought about it weirdly enough ;).

12.) What do you drink with dinner?

Juice or orangeade. :)

13.) What do you dip a chicken nugget in?

I'm a vegetarian so I don't eat them. But I used to not dip them in anything.

14.) What movies could you watch over and over and still love?

The hungergames, I guess. And... Pretty Little Liars (lets just assume that's a movie ^_^)

15.) Were you ever a girl scout?

Nope, I was a scout... for about a month... then I quit.

16.) Would you ever strip or pose nude in a magazine?

N.E.V.E.R. in my entire life.

17.) Can you change the oil on your car?

I don't own a car and if I would and I would change the oil on my car, that would probably result in me not owning a car anymore. Yeah, no, never gonna happen.

18.) Have you ever gotten a speeding ticket?

Nope.

19.) Afraid of heights?

Yeah, definitely. When I was still young I had my own birthday party at an indoor climbing wall. I climbed for two meters, then started crying and went down. Luckily nowadays I can handle those small heights much better but big heigst are sitll scary ;)

20.) Do you sing in the car?

Not often, but I auditioned for a roll in a musical once and so I had to practice :) And when I was young I did with my sister (damn, those must have been hard rides for my mum).

21.) Is Christmas stressful?

Definitely not. Partially because we don't really celebrate it so I don't have to buy a lot of presents.

22.) Occupations you wanted to be when you were a kid.

Firefighter, actor, singer (yeah, that was when I thought I could sing, lol), scientist (that was wehn I thought I could do Physics and Chemistry, lol).

23.) Do you believe in ghosts? Not entirely sure, but yeah, I do think there is a possibility something alike exists. :)

24.) The first concert you ever went to.I never went to a concert :')

25.) Walmart, Target, or Kmart?
Target I guess, but haven't been to either of them.

26.) Nike or Adidas?

Nike I guess.

27.) Can you curl your tongue?

Yep *smiles proudly*.

28.) Have you ever cried because you were so happy?

I don't think so. I have cried a thousand times because I was laughing so hard though, does that count? :')

29.) The last concert you saw?

None.

30.) Can you swim well?

Sort of. Got my A, B and C certificate (Dutch system).

31.) Can you knit of crochet?

I can knit. :)

32.) Are you a dog person or a cat person?

A cat person. Absolutly ^_^

Hi there!

So while I was biking back home from the dentist, I was thinking about how awkward the whole situation had been, when it suddenly *ahum* occurred to me how awkward actually my whole life is. And how awkward I make it. Because I get like, uber-stressed in social situations you know, I'm this "please-hide-me-from-the-presence-of-the-human-existence-because-I-suck-at-human-interaction"-type of person. And so the idea for this article was born (oh, how cliché). So, are you a "please-hide-me-from-the-presence-of-the-human-existence-because-I-suck-at-human-interaction"-type of person, then continue reading, if not, then also continue reading. ^_^

Disclaimer: I'm not poking fun at people who suffer from Social Anxiety Disorder. Nor am I not taking this disorder seriously. I understand the existence of mental health problems and the importance of them being treated. I do take them seriously and I hope you guys do too.

Hi!

Everyone knows them: The New Year’s resolutions. And with an eye on the “fit is the new thin” and with fit bodies being the new beauty ideal a lot of people include “eating healthier”, “sport more often” and “running”. As usual I also wanted to start running this new year. But this time I wanted to do it a little bit different than before: this time I actually wanted to sustain it throughout the whole year. But then once again, I faced a problem, because how can I keep myself motivated? Keep on reading to get to know more about it.

For today's blog article, I made Polyvore wishlist featuring just items from American Apparel. Although their clothing can be a bit expensive, I do still really love their clothing. So, if you want to know what I'm wishing for this January... Continue reading ;)

Hi everyone!

Since about one year, we have Netflix and I must admit: I absolutely love it. Because I LOVE tv-shows. I watch so many of them, I sometimes lose track or I will mix up both series and I will get incredibly confused. But even so, I keep on watching all those different series. Before we had Netflix I would watch series too (on websites like "watchseries.to) but Netflix just makes watching shows so much easier. So, in this blogpost I will tell you about TV-shows that I watch(ed).

Hi everyone!

This article should actually have been written / published yesterday but because I went out for dinner I didn't have time. But oh well, here it is ;) So anyway, in this article, I'll answer the questions for the "7 Deadly Sins of Beauty Tag".

Hi everyone!

I can really enjoy a good cup of coffee with some milk and sugar and preferably also some caramel. Although the Starbucks travel mugs are nice there are a lot of other coffee mugs that are way cuter! In this article I will show you 10 travel mugs that you wish you had!

Hi everyone!

I love body-butters. Seriously, I think they are amazing and a necessity for everyone. I'm not gonna lie and yes, I have tons of body-butters that I got from bodyshop. But none of them was based on the magical product coconut oil, so I made myself some body-butter / oil that is based on coconut oil and I'm gonna share it with you.

Hi!

After going to middleschool for three years and losing all my notes and worksheets, I decided it was time for a change. Because my "system" (if that even existed) clearly didn't work. When revising I could never find my notes and I would need to bring a worksheet to go over the answers I would most of the time have to come up with some kind of weird excuse as to why I didn't have it (my mum even wrote a note once to a teacher saying that my cat had peed on my worksheet - yep, it was that bad). So during the summer holiday between grade 9 & grade 10, I watched every YouTube video that I could possibly find on the Internet about how to organise my schoolwork but none of them seemed to fit me. So I used a little bit of the things I had learned from those YouTube videos and I used a little bit of my own imagination to come up with a system that actually worked really well for me. Curious as to what this system is? Continue reading...

Hi everyone!

I have quite long and thick hair and I absolutely love it, most of the time. Sometimes however... I hate it because it's so straw-like. After dyeing my hair with hairchalk and spending three weeks in a swimming pool in Southern France with a lot of Chlorine, my hair looked like that of a witch. Literally; I would sometimes have half an AVRO hairstyle because it was so frizzy. So I kept putting conditioner in my hair, before I went to the pool or do anything, to tame it a bit. Luckily, someone long ago came up with the idea of creating hair masks and luckily we came up with the idea of buying such a product... Although I never believed they did any wonders, I have been proven wrong. So, are you curious how hair masks have changed my life and which other products I use to keep my hair healthy and shiny? Keep on reading ;)

So the above picture pretty much describes how I feel right now; I have a (sort-of) social life (ok, no, that's a total lie, but whatever), I have "hobbies", I have no concentration and find no happiness in doing schoolwork and I have mid-years coming up in less than a week. So while I was sitting here contemplating about all that I still have to do, I met this one good, old friend. Her name was stress… And the thing is, we all face it; considering our busy lives and all the hasty people around us. Whether it is because you are late for an appointment or you still have to do a lot but you have limited time, as a teenager or young-adolescent you are most probably a professional-stress-facer. So..., I have made a list of 9 tips to beat stress!

Hi!

So, I'll admit, I'm a little, little, bit obsessed with music (I mean, I totally don't have vinyl records hanging on my wall or something). I listen to it all day, every day. Over time my taste in music has changed quite a lot; from random music for children my age (e.g. 8 years old) to Taylor Swift, to Demi Lovato, to Twenty One Pilots. Although I still listen to individual singers like Taylor Swift and Demi Lovato (I mean, hello, talent much!) I'm currently more into bands. So, here is a list of my favourite bands.

Hello everybody!

I'm an perfectionist. And yes, I'm extreme sometimes, according to my friends and my sister. But... but... but... Perfection is just so beautiful, right?! And if you measure everything then... Here is a list of things that I think all perfectionists can relate to.

Hi!
As you might have been able to read on my "About Me" page, one of my favourite pair of shoes is my pair of ankle boots that I got at Primark. I don't shop at Primark often but when I went to Germany to go to the Christmas-markets, my friend's shoes broke and so we went to Primark to find a pair of cheap-substitute shoes. While there, I saw those really pretty boots. And so I bought them ;).
