Hello,
[It's me]

A recent study suggests that people check their phone's about 85 times a day (don't you just love all this incredibly useless information I provide you with? ;)), so you know, that pretty accurately represents the addictiveness and importance of our phones. And I'm not gonna deny it; I'm a pretty frequent user of my phone (although I have no problem with not having a phone for a few months when I've lost or broken my phone for the 127083987 time again). Although I sometimes doubt what I do all this time while I'm on my phone (I swear, time just disappears or something) I do know what some of my favourite apps are, so for today's article, here's a list of my favourite apps of February :)

Games
1. Subway surfers:
When I'm in awkward situations, when I'm bored or just when I'm procrastinating... I love to play games. One of the favourite games at the moment is Subway Surfers (yeah, I know, old but gold).

2. Merged!
A friend recently introduced me to this game during our obviously super-interesting history class. You get dice-like blocks with dots ranging from 1 - 6. If you place 3 of those blocks next to each other, they will merge so to create a new block with the next number (e.g. if you place 3 blocks with one dot, the new block will have two dots). Once you get three "M!"'s (created by merging three sixes), the surrounding 9 blocks will disappear. Your aim is to stay in as long as possible without filling up the board.

Tools
1. ColorNote
Albeit I'm incredibly annoyed by the fact that Color isn't written as Colour, I do absolutely love this app. Although most of us, if not all, will have a notes application on their phones, this one has more functions. For example, you can add widgets to your home screen, colour-organize your notes (duh), protect your notes with a password and give titles to your notes. I absolutely love it!

An alike-app can be installed for iOS, although it is produced by a different developer (free): Here

2. Unseen
I'm prepared for all the hate I'm gonna get by posting this, but... sometimes I just wanna read someone's message without having to reply instantly; like when I'm busy I just want to know if it is urgent or if they can wait for an answer. The problem is that Facebook has this incredibly annoying read-receipt that can't be turned off, resulting in friends being annoyed with me . So, I found this great app that lets me read messages from WhatsApp, Facebook and Viber (which I don't use) without my friends seeing that I read their message.

I couldn't find the exact app for iOS but there are tons of alike apps out there for iOS too.

Health
1. SAMApp
SAMApp is an app that with breathing tips / games and other games that can help calm you down in stressful situations. I have found it to be incredibly helpful when I'm stressed or when I need to give a presentation for example. The app was produced by the University of the West of England and there is a lot of information about anxiety and coping mechanisms. Although it was particularly developed for people with anxiety, I have found it to be helpful in stressful situations too. :)
