Hi everyone!

I love body-butters. Seriously, I think they are amazing and a necessity for everyone. I'm not gonna lie and yes, I have tons of body-butters that I got from bodyshop. But none of them was based on the magical product coconut oil, so I made myself some body-butter / oil that is based on coconut oil and I'm gonna share it with you.

♥Ingredients

For this body-butter you will only need 3 ingredients, although you can add more. The ingredients that I used were:

- 30gr. Coconut oil

- A few (5) drops of body / massage oil

- A few (7) drops of a nice scent (preferably an oil too - I used Rosemary)

- 4-5 teaspoons of Honey

Additional ingredients to add are:
- Salt / scrub salt (if you'd like the body-butter to scrub you with some salt)

Other tools / materials that you will need include:

- A spoon

- A measuring scale

♥Method
1. Measure 30gr. of coconut oil and put it in the mixing-bowl / mixing-beaker.

2. Add 4-5 teaspoons of Honey to the coconut oil.

3. Add 5 drops of body oil.

4. Add about 7 drops of scented (massage) oil.

5. Mix the ingredients with a mixer.
Such an aesthetically-pleasing picture...
6. Put the mixture into a cute bowl, preferably one that can be closed. You can even give it as a gift that way!

So there you have it, your own, homemade, coconut-oil based body-butter! I advise you to not make too much of this since you wouldn't want it to "expire" (honey can crystallise). Also, because it is coconut-oil, it can solidify. If that happens, you can just use a blowdryer or put it on / near the heater to heat it up, that way it will melt a bit. This might not seem so handy, but I'm definitely willing to pay the price.

N.B. If you have scented body-oil, you can also use that instead of using both body-oil and a scented oil. :)

P.s. Because of the honey, the body-butter is sticky. Therefore, you should use this in the shower / in the bath, so that you can rinse it off ;) It will still moisturise your skin that way, but it will at least get off :)
